Classic Tuxedo with Wool Jacket and Grosgrain Trim

This tuxedo is the black-tie and shawl-collared version of our classic suit in a refined wool plainweave with silk grosgrain trim. The make has full canvas construction — the sine qua non of tailoring — with a special, structured 3-layer canvas that'll mold and meld to your body over time. While the jacket lacks the 3-roll-2 front and notched lapels of our other suits, it has the same classically American-by-way-of-Italy spirit with a natural shoulder, a shorter body, and no front darts. Think old-school 'sack suit,' but sexier. The trousers are cut in our original plain-front shape to complement the jacket, with side-adjuster tabs at the waist and a grosgrain stripe down the sides.
